Why does my Instagram account keep disconnecting?

If your Instagram account keeps disconnecting from our app, it’s usually due to Instagram’s security measures. This typically happens when Instagram detects unusual or potentially risky activity.


Most users stay connected for years without any issues, but if you're experiencing frequent disconnections, it could be due to:


  • A recent Instagram password change.
  • Frequent logins/logouts across sessions.
  • Multiple people are logging into the account from different devices or locations.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is not enabled on the account.
  • Permissions for our app were removed or edited.
  • The account type was switched from Business or Creator to Personal.

To help prevent future disconnections:


  • Avoid logging in and out frequently.
  • Limit the number of users accessing the Instagram account.
  • Make sure 2FA is enabled on your Instagram account (recommended by Instagram for added security).
  • Keep the profile set as Business or Creator.
