How can I create a feed with uploaded files?
Creating feeds with uploaded files (images and video) is available on our Plus plan only.
To create a feed with uploaded files, follow two simple steps:
- Upload the files to your Shopify store
- Create a feed with uploaded files on the Instafeed / Instagram feed app
In this guide, you can also learn how to manage files' properties (dates and captions) on the Instafeed / Instagram feed app.
Upload the files to your Shopify store
To upload files to show on your feed, go to Shopify > Content > Files
Important note: For the files to show up on your feed, make sure the file name includes the word "instafeed". For example, name your file "my-file-1-instafeed.jpg” before uploading it.
Hit the "Upload files" button and select the files to upload.
The uploaded files that contain "instafeed" on their name will appear on the Instafeed / Instagram Feed app. To access your uploaded files on the app, go to Shopify > Apps > Instafeed / Instagram Feed > Files.
Create a feed with uploaded files on the Instafeed / Instagram feed app
