"User not found" error

When trying to connect your Instagram account from a mobile device, you might see a "User not found" error. This is a known issue with the Instagram app and typically occurs on mobile devices when you're redirected to Instagram to grant permissions.


Unfortunately, since this issue comes from the Instagram app, we’re unable to fix it directly. However, you can try the following workarounds:


  1. Use a desktop computer to connect your Instagram account.
  2. Temporarily uninstall the Instagram app on your mobile device and try again. This will open the login flow in your mobile browser instead of the app, which typically avoids the error.
