"400 Session Invalid" when connecting to Instagram
When attempting to connect your Instagram account, you may encounter an invalid session error. This is a known issue on the Instagram website and has been reported by some users across Instagram Partners.
Unfortunately, since the issue is not related to our apps, there's nothing that we can directly do about it. Several users have reported success with one of the following workarounds:
- Clear browser data
- Delete cookies and cache, or
- Try connecting in incognito/private browsing mode
- Try alternative access methods
- Use a different device (mobile instead of desktop, or vice versa)
- Switch to another browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Network solutions
- Connect through a different network or IP address
- Try using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or vice versa)
- Account refresh
- Log out of Instagram completely
- Close the browser/app
- Log back into Instagram
- Attempt to connect again
If all else fails, wait approximately one hour, and try connecting again using incognito/private browsing mode.
Alternatively, to all steps above, we recommend connecting using the Meta for Business login instead.
